Commenting Rules
Hi all:
I get many comments here daily. Unless they add value to the site I mark them as spam.
Comments like “Great Post!!” serve no purpose beyond putting a back link on my site.
I am looking for comments that reference the post and add value. Please consider asking questions, or correcting me if I have said something you do not agree with. Start a conversation!
The key factor is relevance.
Regards
Bill

SEO Fads and the 80 / 20 rule
There are two types of SEO practitioner. Those who chase the fads and the “latest trick” and those that understand the system and use only time honoured methods. The parento principle which is known as the 80/20 rule applies strongly to Search Engine Optimization. This rule states that 80% of your gain comes from 20% of your effort.
We understand search engines and work with them. The concept of trying to constantly trick Google, Yahoo and MSN is very 80% on the work scale. There is a component of each search engine’s algorythm that changes constantly to foil the scammers and black hat operators.
20% of the effort returns 80% of the gain. To utilise this principle, we work with the search engines and our results speak for themselves. Read the rest of this entry »
