Interior french doors can make a decorative barrier between two rooms of a house. Think of a set of french doors between the lounge and dining room of the house. They can really make a statement.
The panels in the door do not necessarily need to be of clear glass. They can be replaced with decorative glass, or even stained glass. Decorative handles and hinges can also be used to complete the look. Any place where there is a wide opening between two rooms can accommodate interior french doors. They do not need to be conventional opening doors – they can be sliding double glass doors which will not take up as much space but will create the look that you want.
Of course you do not need interior french doors in every room of the house but one or two sets carefully placed will definitely add elegance to the home. Look later in this section for more ideas.
