Short Form Sales Copy
Short form sales copy is best described as a video preferably or an audio and 200-250 words of supporting text. The text should pick on 2 or 3 points referenced in the media and support the message. This gives the viewer a feeling of reliability and consistency. These are both important aspects of a functional sales exercise. The prospect must trust the vendor if he or she is to become a customer.
The internet has changed the way people process information. Prior to its coming, people were happy to read brochures. Now they prefer to have their information presented in audio-visual form. To be successful selling from a computer screen the preferences of the masses must be catered for. Mental laziness is the norm, so keep your message short and concise. Present it in a manner that is in keeping with the desires of the crowd — short and simple.
