Timely Copy is an Australian family business
Utilising the marvels of the internet age, Timely Copy is based near Hobart in Tasmania. A beautiful island just south of mainland Australia.
Timely Copy utilises the varied talents of its members. It prides itself on providing internet services to the world that are professional and well done.
I created the business when I realised how difficult it was to get good clean web copy. My team are all well educated and were born in Australia and have proven their skills in English spelling, vocabulary and grammar.
When hiring a writer, the first thing I seek is a person who reads for pleasure. I have found that those who read for pleasure have a wider vocabulary and a better grasp upon the written word. I am very aware of the differences between US English and that of the rest of the world. It goes deeper than mere spelling. The word we are looking for here is idiom. In a sense we are bilingual as we are able to write consistently in either American or English.
Each member of the team brings skills that are sought after in the copywriting arena.
The primary members of the team are:
Jane Underwood
Jane is a well-spoken, middle aged Australian in her 50’s.
She has a vast knowledge of the English language which she can write fluently, with correct grammar and spelling. Being an avid reader she has a very wide vocabularly to call upon. Her interests are wide so she is able to write about many subjects but is not afraid to research any topic to learn more.
Prior to joining the business, she was a top echelon secretary in 3 fortune 500 companies. You have to be effective and efficient to function at that level. Her love of the English language and its literature shows in her writing.
Her pieces are crafted in an accurate yet easy to read fashion.
Krystie Underwood
Krystie is the bright young spark of the team, bringing to it enthusiasm and youthful ideas and a wealth of business and investment experience.
She has already had quite a wealth of experience – in management, real estate and personal development. She also knows the internet very well and knows how it works and where to access and research any topic.
Being an avid reader she has a good command of the English language and is very skilled at copywriting.
Bill Underwood
Bill is in his mid 50’s and retired but doing more work now than when he was working. After many years of running a successful consulting business he decided to retire, got bored, and started Timely Copy. He has 25 years experience with computers, has read 2 entire public libraries and written and published 2 books.
He is an avid reader with a vast knowledge of many areas but with a particular interest in new age and personal development subjects.
He knows how the internet works – backwards – and can use it quickly and effectively to research any topic. Bill is a wordsmith. He knows how to use the English language to its best advantage to get the message across in a friendly and readable manner.
