Remote Management

I am flexible. Staff management is results driven — I am not there to see that you clock on at 9:00am and clock off at 5:00PM, so I do not worry about WHEN you work. My concern then is the amount and quality of your work. To this end I have systems in place that will hold you accountable for your actions:

Payment

  • Staff will maintain timesheets using the format provided and transmit them to me weekly
  • Payment is upon receipt of an invoice which must be supported by timesheets. No invoice — No Pay
  • Invoices are to be submitted monthly on or about the 1st of each month.
  • Probationary staff submit invoices weekly on the Monday following the work week.

Work Scheduling

  • Work is scheduled by the staff member according to the priority of the task.
  • Tasks are discussed using Skype and submitted by email
  • When a task is submitted, the staff member will respond with an expected duration and delivery date / time
  • Staff will always be given background tasks and special tasks in addition to your routine work. This will assist your scheduling.
  • There will be a scheduled weekly staff meeting for 10 minutes. If more time is needed another time will be scheduled.

Training

  • Timely Copy is committed to staff training and self improvement. To that end training materials are provided freely to staff who are expected to spend a minimum of 10% of their paid time in training.
  • Training is considered to be a part of the job description of a staff member and as such is reported in the timesheets. You are held accountable to training time and results as you would be for any other task.
